Lightning Sharks is a youth flag football team dedicated to building fundamental skills and agility. Lightning Sharks focuses on the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. Players will have the chance to play multiple positions, learn the rules of the game, as well as understand the technical aspects of the game. Youth will partake in specialized training focusing on footwork, route running, throwing, and catching. Most importantly players will learn that football is a team sport and that no matter how good any individual may be it takes teamwork and team strategy to win games. Lightning Sharks is aimed at youth who want to partake in a recreational flag football team.
Destined 4 Greatness Football Fitness Program will improve athletes’ fundamental football skills while emphasizing the importance of teamwork. Athletes will learn all aspects of the game including offense, defense, and special teams. Each high intensity training session will focus on agility, speed, and strength training, with specialized training in passing, receiving, kicking, punting, and running routes. Clients will learn strategic offensive and defensive plays increasing their mental knowledge of the game. Football Fitness illustrates the importance of teamwork, teaching athletes when to lead and when to be a team player so they can effectively communicate on the field. This program will give players the tools and skills to meet with success and change their game for the better!
Destined 4 Greatness launches youth into the game of football. This weeklong clinic focuses on teaching youth the fundamentals of football. Players who are new to the game will develop a foundation of fundamental skills and learn the rules of football. Advanced players will be challenged to continue to develop skills and agility while learning how to strategize. The Destined to Be Great coaching staff celebrates effort as much as achievement and focus on personal development, learning and improving. The clinic’s teaching progression takes into account age and skill difference when grouping athletes. This clinic is aimed towards youth entering grades 1st – 5th.
D4G Football Clinic will develop athletes passing and catching techniques, along with ball carrying, and route running skills. Athletes will partake in various footwork drills to improve their quickness, route patterns and field awareness. Athletes will learn the importance of agility training through vigorous ladder and cone drills. Athletes will learn the fundamentals of zone defenses as well as offensives formation. Skills will be developed through practices and scrimmages.
